Project and Account Manager (Full-Time, Hybrid)

We seek a dynamic, personable, and highly organized individual to join our web design and Internet marketing firm as a Project and Account Manager. This role is pivotal in supporting projects and account management tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering client relationships.

In this position, you will start by working closely with one of the company's founders to manage a wide variety of client accounts and quickly grow to manage your own accounts. This position offers a significant opportunity for an individual with web design/development and project management experience to grow their knowledge in many domains, help clients succeed, and advance their career. Responsibilities

While your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks, your primary focus will be to ensure that projects remain on track, within budget, and adhering to Plaudit’s high quality and client satisfaction standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with clients to oversee their portfolio of projects, ensuring successful outcomes through effective coordination with the client and our design, development, and digital marketing teams.
  • Schedule and lead project meetings with clients, primarily via Zoom with occasional in-person, to manage agendas and facilitate ongoing communication.
  • Set up new projects and tasks in our systems and brief the team. The size of projects varies from small tasks to large, roughly year-long projects.
  • Client communication to ensure clients are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project scope and timelines, ensuring team members and clients remain on track to meet timeline requirements.
  • Review the team's work, conduct quality assurance checks to maintain high standards, and manage tasks in our project management system for clients/projects you are overseeing.
  • Work with our teams to brainstorm project ideas to help clients achieve their goals, write estimates, and share them with your accounts.
  • Always be a team player, willing to assist and support the team and the client's success.

Requirements

  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in the web design or Internet marketing industries, either at an agency or as a freelancer.
  • Personable. Positive and energetic demeanor with a friendly approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of quickly switching between clients and projects without losing focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for internal coordination and managing client relationships.
  • A growth mindset where you view this role not just as a job but as a career growth opportunity.
  • Ability to handle stress and occasional difficult conversations about projects with clients (e.g., timeline issues) with stability, grace, and friendliness
  • Proactive, willing to undertake various tasks, and eager to learn and grow.
